Fractional CHRO | The HR Partner Who Actually Knows the Business
About
HR Experience + Relationships That Matter = 6 Degrees or Less
Experienced HR executive with time spent across industries such as engineering & construction, wireless communications, restaurant/hospitality, distribution, software, retail, heavy equipment, construction, building products, and manufacturing. I've partnered with and supported a wide range of employees over the years, including executives, professionals, hourly workers, unionized staff, sales personnel, and others, in various settings (field, corporate, restaurants, warehouses, retail stores, and call centers). I'm experienced and comfortable with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including due diligence and post-merger integration. Ultimately, people are still people. They want to be treated with respect, compensated fairly for their work, to be heard, and to make a difference.
The key to being an effective human resources partner is to understand and appreciate the business you support. Knowing how money is made (and lost) is table stakes. When you know and understand the CEO's pain points and what keeps them up at night, that's when the fun begins and the magic happens.

Founder and Principal
6 Degrees or Less · Frisco, Texas, United States
Dec 2025 – Present(5 mos)
6 Degrees or Less, LLC is a people advisory and fractional HR practice. After years of building HR functions across industries, I’m stepping into work that lets me do what I love most: help organizations grow through stronger people, better leaders, and healthier cultures. Most small and midsize companies hit a point where people and culture become business-critical - long before they’re ready for a full-time CHRO. That’s the gap fractional HR fills, and it’s where I do my best work. At 6 Degrees or Less, I focus on: - Fractional CHRO & HR Leadership for growing small and midsize companies - People Development - leadership development, culture-building, talent programs - Strategic HR Consulting - org design, M&A integration, compensation, people ops - Leadership Coaching & Speaking on leadership, culture, and connection Why the name? Because great organizations are built on connection, and we’re all closer than we think. My work has always centered on trust, alignment, and what I call “relationshiping.”
