About

Kathleen Klaviter has 25+ years in organization and leadership development supported by executive coaching. Her client focus is to assist in making strategic transitions as an individual or organization.

In her role as a consulting partner, she helps individuals and groups align their people and processes with the strategic direction of the organization. She uses a focused thought process to create a long-term vision and statement of purpose for the individual or organization. Kathleen uses her process and facilitation skills to develop strategic priorities and action plans to achieve identified short and long- term goals. She developed many of these skills in her role as an internal consultant at Texas Instruments while working throughout multiple divisions and corporate function. Engagements included developing or customizing materials and conducting training classes, leading strategic planning sessions, organizational re-design, individual and group coaching of managers and diversity groups.

Before launching her own consulting practice, Kathleen served as the North American Director of Training and OD for Hanson Building Materials America (now Lehigh-Hanson) where she was responsible for designing and implementing a leadership development program for managers. She also designed and developed a high-potentials’ initiative which included the first coaching program in the company for managers and executives and a robust succession planning process. At Dallas Baptist University (DBU) she developed and taught a course to develop coaching skills as part of their master’s in professional development.

Kathleen's credentials include multiple training and facilitation certifications and assessment qualifications. She holds the Professional Certified Coach credential (PCC) from the International Coach Federation; supporting her role as a professional and business coach. She keeps current with certifications by staying active in professional groups such as the OD Network and ICF where she currently serves on the Board. Kathleen earned her master's in Organization Development and Change Management from the University of Texas at Dallas while working for Texas Instruments. Her undergraduate is from Southern Methodist University.

When she’s not working, Kathleen can be found pursuing her love of the arts; she is an active member of the Women of WaterTower Theatre and the Dallas Museum of Art League. She has found a home for community service with the Rotary Club of ParkCities Dallas
